The Cecil County Public Library is committed to providing
technological services to our community.
Every public library in Cecil County offers
free high-speed Internet access public computers,
equipped with Microsoft Office programs, including the
award-winning multimedia Encyclopedia Encarta, and
Magic School Bus games.

SAM - Smart Access Manager
The library's public computers are managed by SAM - a self-signup
program. SAM monitors time used by patrons system-wide:
30 minute increments up to a total of two hours per day.
You must have a current library card and,
as of September 5, 2006, you also must have a PIN
to log onto the public computers.
Bring it with you. If you do not have a card,
print out your library card application in
English or
Spanish
and take it to your branch to apply for a card!

visiting our area, please ask at the library about Computer Use Only and
Visitor Cards.)
