INVITATION TO BID

 

Sealed bids for the "Elkton Library Roof & Deck Replacement" for the Cecil County Public Library, Board of Library Trustees, will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, January 27, 2010 at the Cecil County Public Library Administrative Headquarters, Elkton Central Library, 301 Newark Avenue, Elkton, MD 21921-5441, after which they will be publicly opened and recorded. Electronically submitted bid proposals will not be accepted.

 

The work includes the following major items: Construction of a roof & deck replacement including all necessary demolition, sheathing, shingles, venting system, associated flashings, sheet metal, gutters and downspouts for the Elkton Library, 301 Newark Ave., Elkton, MD.

 

On or after January 13, 2010, the bid package may be examined or purchased at the Cecil County Public Library, Administrative Headquarters, 301 Newark Avenue, Elkton, MD 21921 (410-996-1055). Copies of these documents may be obtained upon payment of $50.00 payable to Cecil County Public Library which is non-refundable.

 

A pre-bid meeting will be held at the Cecil County Public Library Administrative Headquarters, Elkton Central Library, on January 15, 2010 at 2 p.m.
