Who We Are

The Friends of the Cecil County Public Library is a non-profit organization of citizens who love the library and help and support its programs and its purpose. All funds raised are given to the library to support programs and purchase special equipment that their budget does not allow for.

What We Do

Advocate for public funding through elected representatives. Hold fundraisers and membership drives to raise funds for such programs such as the Summer Reading Program for children, teens and adults.

What Being a Member Means

You will be part of an organization that loves the library and the programs it offers. You will be helping to keep programs, events and services both active and growing. Upon receipt of your membership and dues, you will receive a membership card good for one year. You will be invited to our Annual Meeting and you will receive a quarterly newsletter listing past, current and future events.

Join Us!

The Cecil County Public Library is fortunate to have organizations which support its mission and goals.  There are hundreds of Friends – become one!
