Summertime… And the Reading is Easy

Toes in the sand, iced tea on hand, children running through the sprinkler, and the inviting smell of BBQs and sunscreen—summertime is upon us, and CCPL always celebrates Summer Reading with a bang. This year, we have something for everyone, and we certainly have a book for everyone. Whether you prefer a sparkling picture book like The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister to read to your little ones,  a thrilling and brilliantly written young adult novel like The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, or the smash-hit sequel Innocent by Scott Turow — we’re here to help you register to read and register to win.

Kids and Parents—Check out our stellar summer programs at every branch, and register to win prizes, coupons, baseball tickets….and even a brand-new bicycle!

Teens—It’s easy—read books you like and register to win a $50 Visa gift card, baseball tickets, and more. Show your stuff as a gamer and participate in our gaming tournament to be the county champion…and win free stuff from Game Stop.

Adults—Go anywhere with a book…we have staff-generated lists of great reads if you’re in need of a suggestion, or you can curl up with your favorite paperback on the beach. Either way, register to win a variety of prizes just right for a stay or vacation.

Sign up now and tell us your very favorite (or un-favorite) thing about all things summer.
