Kiss of the Highlander
Karen Marie Moning's book Kiss of the Highlander is a great escape. Gwen Cassidy is looking for a change in her life, so she sets out on a tour of Scotland only to find it's a senior citizens bus tour. Discouraged, she goes hiking in the hills near Loch Ness and ends up falling into a cave onto a sleeping man. Drustan MacKeltar is a 16th century Druid who wakes up from a gypsy spell in the 20th century and discovers he needs to go back in time to ensure the continuation of his family and the Druid duties assigned to them by the Tuatha De Danaan. He also needs Gwen to help him and although she doesn't believe his story, she can't resist. The story follows their adventures in both centuries as they try to discover who is behind the gypsy spell and, of course, fall in love. The reader for the CD book, Phil Gigante, does a fantastic job of distinguishing between the characters. His deep voice and Scottish brogue are just how I imagined Drustan's voice, and I would highly recommend listening to the CD Book just to hear that!

I just listened to this in my car; certainly made my commute go faster! I too loved the voice. And what an interesting twist to the end! I going to catch up with other "Highlander" books by Moning now.
