Benny & Penny in Just Pretend

Benny and Penny in Just Pretend is a level two Easy Reader that also happens to be a graphic novel.  Older brother, Benny, is so interested in pretending to be a pirate that he has no time for little sister, Penny, who is desperate for his attention.  After much arguing and complaining, Benny agrees to play hide and seek, at which point Penny hides and Benny does not bother to try to find her.  After several minutes, Benny wonders why Penny has not come out to bother him some more.  After he fails to find her, he becomes worried.  In the end, Benny realizes that playing with his sister isn't so bad after all.  Readers of all ages will enjoy both the illustrations and the story in this graphic novel.
