Shadows of Lancaster County

Mindy Starns Clark.

I love intrigue and suspense, and like many people in this area, I also love to read about the Amish. So, I was thrilled to come across this book by a local author that is set in the Amish farm community of Lancaster County, PA. Anna Bailey, who had left the area and created a new identity in California, is called back to Pennsylvania to help find her missing brother and discover why his friend was murdered. Her sleuthing involves her in the world of DNA research, gene therapy and her own family history, and reconnects her to the only man she had ever loved. This story of intrigue, romance, history and science is sure to keep you reading late into the night.
