If I Had a Dragon
Morton doesn't want to play with his little brother. Wouldn't it be so much better if his brother were something else, like a dragon?! They could have grand, exciting adventures. But as Morton soon finds out, having a dragon creates all sorts of problems and may not be as fun as he expected. Especially when they learn to whistle and the dragon lights Morton's hair on fire. Maybe a dragon isn't all that practical and it might actually be more fun to play with your little brother.

Love this book. For a while, my daughter asked me to read it every night. Fortunately, it has gone back into general circulation :)
