Entice with Spice: Easy Indian Recipes for Busy People
I love Indian food. Love it! But the nearest Indian restaurant is thirty minutes away. So when I saw this book, I thought maybe I should just learn how to make my own. Entice with Spice: Easy Indian Recipes for Busy People is exactly what it says it is. Easy! I'm not much of a cook, but my first attempt turned out great. The recipe for Aloo gobi (spiced cauliflower and potato) was simple enough that even I could make it. So, I'm in the process of trying all the dishes that I look for when I go out. After reading the recipes of my favorites, I realized the ingredients were easy to find and I needed only three new spices. I'm thrilled to find such a down-to-earth Indian cookbook. Tonight...chicken curry or aloo matar? Can't decide. Maybe both!

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I rarely take out cookbooks and whatnot from the library, but I love Indian food and wanted to at least see if I liked this cookbook. Looking through it definitely made me want to go and actually buy a copy for myself.
Great review! I've been too intimidated to try cooking Indian food at home but this has given me new hope!
