Beezus and Ramona

Beezus and Ramona is a great story about two sisters. Little sister, Ramona, is always full of cheer and tons of mischief, while older sister, Beezus, is always smart and very kind but does not like all of Ramona's antics. In many ways, Ramona is always commanding everyone's attention and for this reason, Beezus gets left out and feels a bit jealous. For example, Ramona invites her entire nursery school class over without notice. Beezus and her mom have to rearrange their entire day to revolve around Ramona. Ramona somehow always makes everything about her and even starts a fight at her own party.

This story is a good example of the struggles between sisters and family. I have two sisters and I can relate to this book, as many people who read it will. The two sisters may not always get along, but they will always love and care for each other. It was easy to read and it kept my attention.
