Homeland
"Homeland" starring Claire Danes ("My So Called Life") and Damien Lewis ("Band of Brothers") is another great series from the makers of "24". It has won high praise and awards such as 2 Golden Globes for Best Television Drama and Best Actress for Claire Danes. In "Homeland" Danes portrays Carrie Matheson, a brilliant yet very flawed CIA Agent, who is in the CIA's dog house because of missteps in her career. Damien Lewis plays Marine Sgt. Nicholas Brody, who was MIA in Iraq for at least a decade before his rescue and return to native soil as a poster boy for U.S. military operations. What ensues is a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat story of intrigue as Agent Matheson tries to puzzle out whether or not Sgt. Brody is a hero or a very real threat to national security that she must stop at all costs. This is Must-See-TV at its finest.
