Friends Foundation of the Cecil County Public Library
Who We Are
The Friends Foundation is a non-profit organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors that supports Cecil County Public Library initiatives outside the library’s operating budget. Click here for our latest press release.
Our Mission and Vision
The Friends Foundation will enrich the library’s impact through philanthropy and advocacy while inspiring a culture of giving to enhance and support our award-winning library system.
What We Do
We raise awareness in the community of the numerous services and programs our library provides and we advocate for public funding to support CCPL.
We advance the library and its long-term mission by cultivating philanthropic gifts to the CCPL which provide supplemental funding outside the library’s operating budget.
We support CCPL by providing funds for special projects and services such as enhancements to the new North East Library and annual support of programs such as the Summer Reading and Learning program.
