The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Senior Leadership team. Assignments include taking formal meeting minutes, planning/scheduling meetings and agendas, handling high priority mailings and maintaining efficient filing systems.  Responsible for managing and coordinating multiple CCPL administrative projects, such as planning events, meetings, travel and conference registration. Uses excellent customer service skills to resolve concerns and facilitate communication through the Senior Leadership team’s offices.

Graphic Designer

Under the direct supervision of the Technology Services Manager, the Graphic Designer creates compelling visual concepts that support the marketing of library programs and services to the community, in addition to supporting the effectiveness of internal and external communications. The Graphic Designer develops these concepts from the idea stage through execution for a wide variety of audiences on multiple platforms.

Under the general supervision of the Senior Business Research Librarian, the Business Information Specialist delivers a full range of effective and innovative research and information services to prospective and established business owners. Works cooperatively with branch staff to develop and enhance business services in all libraries. Provides caring, non-judgmental customer service to all.  The hourly rate is $21.11 per hour.

Requires BA/BS, excellent customer service, communication and computer skills, and experience working with the public.  Regular schedule includes day, Sunday afternoon, evening and weekend hours.  Starting pay is $17.10/hour.  EOE

The Cecil County Public Library seeks a highly motivated individual interested in a position serving the public. CCPL is currently hiring a part-time (20 hours/week) Custodian for the Rising Sun Branch.

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor, the Custodian will be responsible for custodial services at the Rising Sun Branch and also serves as a back up to the Custodians assigned to other branches. Requires HS Diploma or equivalent and excellent customer service and communication skills.

Regular schedule may include day, evening and weekend hours. Starting pay is $14.17/hour. EOE
