While searching for a book outside of my comfort zone, I thought I would try some science fiction. Google searches for the Top 10 titles in the genre led me to Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. What an unexpected surprise. I loved it. The style, the story, everything. A brilliant young boy is chosen by the government to train on a space station to hopefully become commander of the military and fight the alien army. The training is in the form of military games, at which he excels. But will he be ready to lead when the aliens return?

I've always heard about this book but have never actually read it. Now that I have some time, I think I'm going to have to. Thanks for the great review!

Orson Scott Card is one of the best Sci-Fi writers. He has won major awards and his books are very insightful and imaginative. I have also read a few of his lesser known novels and thoroughly enjoyed them. Fans are happy to know that Ender's Game is finally being produced for the big screen with Mr. Card's help.

What a great book ... if readers enjoyed The Maze Runner or even The Hunger Games they would probably love this Sci Fi classic.
